The Food Collection Competition between competing programs (Diva, Diamond and Dyanmites) has started!! Please send donations with your dancer to any of her classes, where she will be recognized for her contribution. The program with the highest weight of food will win a team pizza party!! Please see hand out that was sent home for acceptable donations!

The Blue Gateway Snack Foods catalog is missing the price - this was a misprint by the rep and he deeply apologizes! All items in the Blue Gateway catalog are $14 each.

This fundraising opportunity is optional. But remember, you are guaranteed a minimum of 25% commission of all your sales. That amount will go towards any of your Vision expenses (tuition, costumes, etc.) If everyone participates and sells just one item from each catalog the percentage would go up to 40%!!!

Thank you for your understanding of the power outage! It is a bit difficult to teach with no lights or heat. Because of the outage we will be offering a makeup day on Friday, Feb. 25th from 12:30-3:30. If you are a Gator please send a lunch, we will eat at 12:00 and then do extended preschool class. We have planned some fun activities in addition to our normal curriculum. If you are a Panda and want to come for lunch, come at 12:00 with a sack lunch and join us! Christmas Gift Show

The first performance of the year is finally here! Remember - call time is 1:00, allow plenty of time for parking! Sometimes after inspection things can get a bit messy in your dancer's bag so make sure your dancer checks her bag 3x's!! Arrive at the show with hair and makeup completely done, with first costume on-their team sweats over the top & zipped up and nice clean tennis shoes. Everyone has worked so hard, the show will be great!

Each dancer is allowed 2 family members to enter the show at no cost, additional tickets are $9.50 (there is a coupon on their website for $1.00 off www.familychristmasgiftshow.com), children 13 and under are free.

Don't forget tomorrow is the MANDATORY hair and makeup clinic! All Diva and Diamond dancers need to be in attendance with a parent. Dancers should come with their hair wet and a spray bottle. We will be teaching you how to do their peformance hair and makeup. You will be getting your costumes and makeup kits there. If you have a kit from last year please bring it with you.

2nd Annual Thriller Night!

Mon. Oct. 25th is Thriller Night! Thriller is a festive dance production put on by Odyssey Dance Theatre @ Kingsbury Hall. Dancers will need to be accompanied by a parent. Tickets are $30 and include a pizza party. We will meet at the studio at 5:00 pm for the pizza party and then head up to Kingsbury for Thriller (show starts at 7:00). This is not mandatory but will be fun so don't miss out!

Congratulations to all of the dancers for a successful Epic convention! The dancers worked so hard and looked amazing! It was a fun and rewarding experience, they got to work with some great choreographers and learned so much! They not only took away some new dance moves but created a lot of new friendships! Epic Reminders

Dancers need to be at the Provo Marriot no later than 4:00 on Friday. They may wear any appropriate dance attire that they would like. They should bring jazz shoes and ballet shoes. Also, bring a black ballet leo and pink tights for ballet class on Saturday. Dancers should also wear their Vision team sweats, if they have received them, when not in class. Hair should be pulled up, securely and neatly out of their face at all times. Dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday is provided. Please send your dancer with plenty of snacks and a water bottle for in between class.

Parents are allowed to watch the last ten minutes of each class. Parents are encouraged to attend the "showcase" at 3:30 on Saturday. The girls will be performing all of the numbers they have learned over the weekend.

Flash Game Update!!

First off, A big Thank You goes out to all our parents and dancers. Thank you for being so supportive and understanding through all this. I realize that you all have busy lives and appreciate your understanding while we have been waiting for the playoff dates. It will be a great experience for the girls and we are thrilled to have the chance to perform!! We have amazing dancers and parents!! We are so lucky!!

The Flash Game will be Wednesday, April 7^th, at the McKay Events Center at UVSC.

1. Head South on I-15.
2. Take Exit 269 University Parkway.
3. Turn left on UT-265,W University Parkway and go east for 0.3 miles to 800 West University Parkway.
4. Turn left at light and veer left around college roundabout.
5. Follow College Drive to North West end of the College

6. Turn right onto McKay drive.

Parents will need to drop their Dancers off at the ticket office at 4:30, completely ready to perform. Dancers will need to arrive in their team sweats, hair and makeup done. (Diamond dancers will need to bring their red hip hop pants in a zip lock bag with your name on it!)

We need to have the court cleared by 5:25, so you must be on time so we have time to space!! Dancers will then be seated, until the game begins. We will have snacks for them or you are welcome to come bring them a little something to eat. We will be performing at halftime. After their performance, dancers will return to their seats and parents can pick them up from there. Dancers will not be allowed to “meet” their families. They will need to stay with us until we have a parent come to get them.

TICKETS!!! VERY IMPORTANT!

Time Sensitive!!!!!

Tickets will be $5.00 each (cash only). Every dancer will need to purchase ticket!! You can pay for your tickets at the studio on Tuesday, April 6^th. We will be open from 9-1:30 or from 4:00-9:00pm. Tickets will be in Will Call at the game by Wednesday. Dancers will not be able to perform if a ticket is not purchased for them by Tuesday night at 9pm. Please be sure to bring your family and friends!! It will be so much fun!!

Flash Game Performance Note

Diamond and Diva Dancers and Parents:

We have been invited by the Utah Flash to perform at their playoff game. This is a wonderful opportunity and something that the girls will have a blast doing. Unfortunately, we will not know when the playoff game is, or even if they make it to the playoffs, until after Sunday when they get done playing their regular games. We ask for your patience and support until we find out complete details. We will be posting it on the door of the studio and also on our blog. If you have submitted a phone number to receive text messages, we will also be notifying you that way.

The game will be played either Wednesday, April 7^th or Thursday, April 8^th. We will need to arrive at the McKay Events Center at 5:15pm for spacing. The game begins at 7:00pm. They will be performing Hip Hop for Diamonds, and I Wanna be like you for Divas. Please try to keep both these dates open. We will let you know as soon as we find out which date it is.

Tickets for the Utah Flash games are usually around $25.00, you will be able to purchase these through us for $5.00 each. They will be available by next Tuesday.

Dancers will need to arrive all the way ready to perform since there will be no dressing area. Divas will be wearing their green costume with their travel suit over it. Diamonds will be wearing their Hip Hop costume with their travel suit over it. Please bring your red pants in a zip lock bag.

Teen Dancers will need to attend a special Hip Hop rehearsal on Tuesday night from 5:45-7:15. You will be receiving all the information about the performance at that time. All other dancers will have Regular Class on Tuesday!

Thank you so much for your support and understanding! If for some reason they do not make the playoffs we will be given the opportunity to perform at a game next season.
